Since Santa Barbara is such a desirable year-round resort destination, we urge you to make your hotel reservations as early as possible.  While March is not the busiest time of the year for hotels in the area, they are nonetheless often fully occupied during this period.  In previous years several teams waited too long and often had to settle on rooms located 30 miles or more away in Ventura or Solvang.  Do not wait to hear that you are accepted before signing up for reservations.  All teams applying will be accepted except a few that apply very late, typically after the deadline.  Take action now to get your hotel rooms; it's always easier to cancel if need be than to rush around trying to get a block of rooms at the last moment.

For those wishing to learn more about area hotels, spending some time at 'Accommodations in Santa Barbara' will be useful in choosing among hotels in the Santa Barbara area and surrounding towns. Any motel in Goleta or Santa Barbara will allow you to reach the fields within 7 to 15 minutes of the time you get in your car. Be aware that the Goleta section is the list of motels that are closest to the fields at UCSB. The Santa Barbara areas are next closest, and any other sections (Carpinteria, Ventura, Lompoc, etc) entail a drive of more than 20 minutes to get to the fields.

El Capitan Canyon, a luxury camping property north of Santa Barbara has extended a 10% discount to families of tournament participants for Friday and Saturday nights (March 24th & 25th).
