Some critical guidelines and rules:

Information availability and updates: All tournament information including field locations, rules, hotel accommodations, accepted teams and playing schedules, will only be posted at our tournament Internet web site. On occasion, a very important and/or late change will occasion an e-mail to an individual team or a whole bracket to look for a change on the website, but be aware that the Website is the Final Word on decisions, superceding even a phone call or e-mail.

All entries must include an e-mail address. because all formal tournament communication with the teams will be via electronic means.

The e-mail address you put on the application should be very clearly readable, since that will be your formal means of notification. You would be wise to send an e-mail to the Registrar (fcsbtourney@hotmail.com) at the time you apply so we can be sure to have an accurate, working e-mail address for you. Every year our registrars receive a few e-mails from addresses that can't be replied to, or printed ones that can't be read. They have to make phone calls to try to fix this, so simply sending an e-mail to them saying you are applying easily resolves most of these miscommunications.

A roster must be submitted with the application so we can verify the age bracket in which you intend to play. It does not matter that it be accurate to the nth degree (the one you submit at your Friday-night Check-in will be the final one), but just enough to show us that you have not made a mistake bracketing yourself (wrong sex or age).

Teams not accepted will receive a full refund.

Teams withdrawing after posted acceptance will suffer a fee forfeit. Acceptance will be dated from posted appearance of the team on the website acceptance list, or on the web-posted game schedule, whichever occurs first.

The visiting teams are critical to our success, but the tournament as a whole (and the integrity of the brackets) takes precedence over a suddenly-changed, often-last-minute situation for the individual team. At our tournament, food and accommodation costs far exceed the tournament fee itself for nearly all teams, so we focus on a total perspective when we make decisions on adjusting individual needs to total bracket or tournament needs. Our approach to dealing with FCSB teams is to try to not place them at a competitive disadvantage, but to sacrifice them first in making brackets work well (playing up, etc) and arranging comfortable play times (playing at 8am, etc). Our primary goal is to have each visiting team feel this is the best tournament it ever applied for and/or attended.
